Job description
We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing operations in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to employees, managers, and global HR stakeholders, ensuring a positive employee experience while maintaining compliance with local labor regulations and company policies.
As the primary HR point of contact for the local office, you will manage the full employee lifecycle, support payroll and HR administration, drive employee engagement initiatives, and help foster a high-performance, collaborative workplace culture. This position requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable balancing operational excellence with employee advocacy, while working effectively in an international and fast-paced business environment.
The ideal candidate combines strong knowledge of Chilean labor legislation with excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. You will play an important role in supporting business growth, enhancing employee experience, and ensuring HR processes are aligned with both local requirements and global standards.
In this role, you will
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, internal events, recognition programs, and internal communications to foster a positive workplace culture, promote company values, and continuously improve employee experience and workplace climate.
- Conduct regular employee check-ins, support conflict resolution, and maintain constructive employee relations while acting as a trusted advisor on people-related matters.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, performance management, employee development, and related HR documentation.
- Administer HR operations processes, including attendance, leave management, employee benefits, HR records, and employee documentation both internally as with HQ.
- Be part of payroll process administration and coordinate payroll processes with external providers to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Maintain accurate employee records, employment contracts, amendments, and legally required documentation in compliance with Chilean labor regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Chilean labor and social security laws, maintain HR policies and procedures, and coordinate with legal advisors and occupational safety providers when required.
- Support workplace safety initiatives, mandatory training, risk prevention activities ( ACHS), and emergency procedures in collaboration with relevant committees and external partners.
- Collaborate with managers and global HR teams to support salary review processes, performance management activities, organizational changes, and talent initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Maintain HR metrics, dashboards, and reports, providing insights on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and employee engagement to support decision-making.
- Manage and maintain HR systems and employee databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity ( BUK & DMS System)
- Provide timely and accurate support on HR-related matters, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and participate in HR projects that enhance organizational effectiveness and employee experience.
What we expect from you
- Proven experience in an HR Generalist, People Operations, HRBP, or similar Human Resources role.
- Strong knowledge of Chilean labor and social security legislation.
- Hands-on experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
- Experience supporting payroll administration.
- Experience working with HRIS platforms, preferably BUK, including employee administration, reporting, document management, and HR process automation.
- Experience preparing HR reports, people metrics, and workforce analytics.
- Understanding of workplace safety, occupational health practices, and compliance requirements ( ACHS or similar).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across different levels of the organization.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- High level of discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
- Proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Advanced English proficiency, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.

- Experience working in multinational, fast-growing, or technology-driven organizations.
- Experience supporting organizational change, culture initiatives, and employee engagement programs.
- Knowledge of compensation and benefits processes.
- Experience working with external payroll, legal, and occupational health providers.
