Reporting to the Customer Support Supervisor - Equipment, International & Customer Relations, the Equipment Coordinator will fulfill internal and external customer needs through a high volume of sophisticated electronic and phone requests (20-30 per day each). In this role, you will provide unscripted, customized professional service with the expectation that you have sole ownership over the resolution window within a 48-hour window.

This is an onsite role in our ChemTreat facility in Glen Allen, VA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Overtime or Weekends may be required.

In this role, a typical day will look like: 

  • Quoting and ordering equipment such as controller, pumps, replacement parts, and custom panels
  • Setting up and maintaining tank information in our internal database
  • Working directly with vendors for costing and technical assistance
  • Handle equipment returns and expedites from start to finish
  • Understand, process, and confirm on average 20-30 customer requests through email per day
  • Support the sales force using a case system to resolve complex situations
  • Problem solves delivery issues, probe and fact find for key elements, and track orders to delivery
  • Review customer Purchase Orders (PO) for order entry
  • Accurately place text-based, customer PO, and email chain orders
  • Resolve freight charge routing and allocation to accurately apply freight charges to customers (100% of orders)
  • Provide support for the Chemical Customer Service Team as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of business and/or customer contact center experience

 It would be an asset if you have:

  • Technical equipment knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate cross-functionally

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $26.50 - $26.50 USD per hour.
