Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a skilled Development Manager – Urban Core to lead the planning and execution of our high-impact urban development projects. This role focuses on creating dynamic, sustainable urban environments that integrate residential, commercial, and recreational spaces to enhance the community experience. As a key member of our development team, you will drive the delivery of urban core projects that align with Qiddiya’s ambitious vision.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all phases of urban core development projects, including planning, design, approvals, and construction management.
- Perform detailed feasibility studies and market analyses to support project decision-making.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, planners, engineers, and consultants to develop innovative urban solutions.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Engage with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and community representatives to facilitate project approvals and foster partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental standards, and sustainability principles.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
- Report regularly to senior management on project progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to building a high-performance development team culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in residential apartment.
- Preferred working in apartment buildings 10 to 20 levels.
- Ideally development management experience in in mixed use projects
- Demonstrated success in managing complex development projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and sustainability best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including proficiency with project management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities.
- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing team members.
