WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a Health & Safety (H&S) Responsible, you lead the Health & Safety strategy and execution in the Sales Market, ensuring safe workplaces, legal compliance, and strong preventive practices across all stores, offices, and operations. You oversee risk assessments, incident management, training, audits, and travel‑risk processes while partnering cross‑functionally to embed a strong safety culture.
You will:
- Responsible for the H&S Strategy and execution within the Sales Market
- Lead and oversee all aspects of workplace safety and compliance across our locations. Monitor and update standards when changes are needed.
- Ensure compliance with country specific H&S laws & regulations, global guidelines and routines
- Fosters a culture of safety and provides a secure environment for both employees and customers.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety Policies, procedures, and manuals in compliance with laws and regulations.
- Organize and deliver health and safety training to employees (e.g. fire safety, manual handling, first aid, etc).
- Monitor and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company standards.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations to integrate safety standards into daily operations.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and awareness around workplace Health and Safety.
- Provide safety & security support for travelers & execute Travel tracker protocols (emergency travel response plans)
- Develop emergency procedures, evacuation protocols and staff training programs.
- Collect and analyze data from incidents to identify patterns and set corrective actions and mitigation plans
- Conducting investigations into accident causes, implement corrective actions and engage with relevant stakeholders
WHO YOU ARE
You are a knowledgeable, structured H&S professional with strong analytical, communication, and investigative skills, capable of turning safety requirements into clear actions. You influence and engage stakeholders at all levels, act with integrity, and provide practical leadership to ensure a safe, compliant, and continuously improving working environment.
We are looking for people with…
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a Health & Safety role, preferably within retail, logistics, or warehouse operations.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing safety policies and procedures.
- Proven track record in conducting inspections, audits, and investigations.
- Experience with global / multi-country compliance frameworks is a strong advantage.
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely, Incident Investigation and Reporting certifications or equivalent is highly desirable.
- First Aid and Fire Safety certifications are an advantage.
- Fluency in English both written/verbal is mandatory.

- In-depth knowledge of H&S regulations, compliance standards & best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; able to train, engage and create commitment with others.
- Ability to develop and implement H&S policies, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Expertise in travel risk management protocols, including traveler safety and crisis response.
- Proficiency in incident management (reporting, data analysis for trend identification, and corrective action planning).
- Strong understanding of occupational safety principles, accident investigation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational and/or Environmental H&S or relevant related fields.
