About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Interpreter to join our Parts Department. This role is responsible for ensuring technicians and internal departments receive the correct parts in a timely manner, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining accurate inventory processes. The successful candidate will work closely with Service, Pre-Delivery, and Warehouse teams to support the efficient operation of the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and source parts requested by technicians and internal departments
- Order parts accurately and efficiently to meet operational requirements
- Respond to phone enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Support the Service Department with the timely supply of required parts
- Liaise effectively with the Service, Pre-Delivery, and Warehouse teams
- Assist with internal business requirements as needed
- Unpack stock orders and maintain a clean, organized parts department
- Receive and process incoming parts orders, branch transfers, and supplier deliveries
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing goods safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory and stock records
- Complete additional duties as directed by management

Essential Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in automotive dealership parts sales and parts interpreting
- Experience working within a dealership parts department environment
- Knowledge of automotive parts identification and ordering processes
Desirable Qualifications
- Current Forklift Licence
