The Role

Engineering and Facilities services is the engine room that keeps us going, a dynamic team that supports the operations of Crown hotels and resorts.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the Engineering team as an Electrician on a Full Time basis (shiftwork is required).

As a Shift Electrician, you will be involved in a range of tasks by providing high quality service for all electrical breakdown and maintenance work. In this role, you’ll also provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests by:

• Being responsible for the effective maintenance, and repairs of all engineering Executing Repairs & Maintenance: Complete assigned repair and preventative maintenance work orders safely, on time, and professionally
• Troubleshooting & Fault finding on electrical circuits in a commercial environment including lighting, power and HVAC controls
• Manage tasks utilizing a computer-based work order system - FMI
• Minor electrical installations in accordance with Australian Standards

About You

The following attributes are desirable but not essential:

• Experience in a similar role.
• Experience with HVAC & Refrigeration controls (desirable)
• Experience with lighting control systems including emergency lighting
• Work autonomously and within a team environment
• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Basic understanding of High Voltage supply networks
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency

Additional Information

To be successful, you’ll have:

• Trade qualification required, Western Australian Electrical Licence (with no restrictions).
• LV Rescue and CPR (Desirable)
• EWP (Desirable)
• HV Switching qualification (Desirable)
• Western Australian Drivers Licence
• Open Availability and happy to work on a Rotating Shift Roster
