About Village at Tuxedo Reserve (VTR)

Inspired by small towns and hamlets across America, the Village at Tuxedo Reserve (VTR) is a visionary new Hudson Valley destination that will offer experiential shopping and dining, year-round curated events, outdoor recreation, breathtaking natural beauty, and a vibrant town-in-country lifestyle — just 30 miles from Manhattan. Described as “the first new built-from-the-ground-up village in generations” and opening in Fall 2026, VTR sits inside Tuxedo Reserve, a 1,200-acre master-planned community in Tuxedo, NY that will have more than 1,600 brand-new single-family homes and townhomes.

Tuxedo Reserve is among the few new developments in the New York region that is located between two large, protected wilderness areas, Harriman State Park and Sterling Forest, with extensive hiking trail networks and mountain views. Other nearby destinations include The Ranch Hudson Valley (5 mi), Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets (39 mi), U.S. Military West Point (25 mi), more in the Hudson Valley , and Catskills, NY (92 miles).

Serving as the downtown hub for both Tuxedo Reserve’s new residential community as well as historic Tuxedo Park, surrounding communities and as a destination for visitors of the nearby hiking trails and mountain views, VTR is designed as a vibrant, walkable village—a town center with a main street, town square, civic spaces, curated retail and restaurant spaces, residential buildings, a Village Green, Village Ice skating rink, and dynamic public gathering spaces.
