Patient Care Associate- TCU- Full-Time Nights

Overview

The Patient Care Associate (PCA) provides age-specific patient centered care. As a member of the patient care team, is expected to take direction from the RN for patient care assignments. Qualifications

Required Education

GED or High School Diploma

Necessary Skills

-Demonstrates teamwork and communicates in a professional manner with all members of the healthcare team. -Demonstrates the ability to learn and apply all hospital computer technologies and procedures that affect patient care delivery. -Knowledge of basic medical terminology and standard precautions. -Ability to read/write in English.

Required Licensure/Certifications

Maintain active CNA license from the State of Florida BLS from the American Heart Association

Required Experience

Less than one year of experience providing patient care.

Preferred Experience

At least one (1) year providing patient care. Required Education:
