Aon is looking for an Underwriting Specialist II for our Dentist Service Organization (DSO). This position has the ability to work both hybrid- out of our Fort Washington, PA office or remotely working EST hours. As an Underwriter supporting Aon Affinity, you will partner closely with our retail agency network to manage both new and renewal books of business across risk and insurance products, with a primary focus on our rapidly growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) segment. In this highly visible, client-facing role, you will serve as the business owner for the DSO portfolio within Aon - collaborating with agency principals, marketing managers, and producers to drive profitable growth. Success will be tracked by business growth and client satisfaction. This fast‑paced role is ideal for goal‑oriented, purposeful professionals who thrive on building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact. What the day will look like: Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents and brokers (captive or independent) who control business opportunities in dental malpractice space Meeting periodically with agency partners to review specific accounts in addition to partnership pulse meetings Attainment of premium and policy volume, and revenue targets as established for the position are essential for success Partner with product leadership, marketing, underwriting, and carriers to coordinate the education, communication, and executive of our risk products Meet established client service metrics Understand the competitive Healthcare marketplace and provide product and pricing feedback to optimize production Attendance at appropriate industry conferences, trade shows, and related events Received periodic coaching from managers or more experience professionals Skills and experience that will lead to success: Property and Casualty license is required At least of one year of Professional Liability Underwriting/Insurance experience Attention to detail and positive communication skills required Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience High School Diploma or GED is required For positions in San Francisco and Los Angeles, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction record in accordance with local Fair Chance ordinances. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Pennsylvania. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
