Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Frontend Development Expertise – Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), React, and frameworks such as Next.js for building scalable and high-performance web applications.
  • Programming Fundamentals – Solid understanding of programming paradigms (object-oriented, functional) and clean coding practices.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms – Ability to apply efficient algorithms and data structures to solve complex problems.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) – Hands-on experience across all SDLC phases including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Problem Solving & Debugging – Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and optimize application performance.
  • System Design & Architecture – Ability to design and develop frontend architectures aligned with overall system design and backend integrations.
  • Web Performance Optimization – Optimize applications for speed, scalability, SEO, and responsiveness (especially in Next.js environments).
  • API Integration – Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance – Conduct unit, integration, and system testing to ensure application reliability and quality.
  • Version Control & CI/CD – Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Software Security – Apply frontend security best practices such as secure authentication flows and data handling.
  • Continuous Learning – Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Essential

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of web-based application development.
  • Hands-on development experience in:
    • JavaScript / TypeScript (core focus)
    • React.js (mandatory)
    • Next.js (preferred / strong exposure required)
    • HTML5, CSS3 (including responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind).
  • Experience integrating APIs and building dynamic user interfaces.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of core software engineering principles and design patterns.
  • Ability to work in a distributed global team setup.
  • Strong communication skills and service-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
  • Fluency in English.

Desirable

  • Experience or exposure to Sitecore CMS and/or WordPress.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Vite, Babel, etc.).
  • Experience with additional JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Vue.js, Angular).
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
  • Basic exposure to headless CMS concepts and composable architectures.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools (Jira) and ITIL practices.
  • Exposure to legacy web technologies (PHP, jQuery, Ajax, XML) is an added advantage.
