This intern position will focus primarily on Accounts Receivable assisting with contract closeouts, tracking progress towards the closeout targets and performing ad hoc reconciliations for both internal and external customers on an as-needed basis. This position will also assist in providing updates on progress for contract closeouts as part of weekly and month reporting in both text and visual format. This role will also assist with broader A/R analytics analysis to maximize the cash cycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver necessary supporting analytics to assist Leadership in decision-making
• Analyze and diagnose business drivers using various financial systems
• Communicate financial results effectively with powerful visual narratives and story-telling
• Execute the Accounts Receivable portion of contract closeouts
• Perform Ad hoc analysis for internal and external customers
• Learn, interpret and communicate corporate policy as related to assigned subject areas
• Coordinate activities and information sharing across the Financial Operations organization

Basic Qualifications

• Demonstrated progress to a BA or BS preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Economics or Business Administration
• Exhibits the characteristics of a continuous learner and problem-solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated ability to work across varying groups and organizational levels
• Willingness to explore diverse areas within Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI)

$46,000 - $57,500 - $69,000 Annual
