Job description
- Develop engaging, persuasive, and commercially effective copy for advertisements, brochures, websites, emails, social media, and other marketing materials.
- Ensure all written content reflects the company’s tone of voice, brand identity, and messaging strategy.
- Conduct thorough research on target audiences, industry trends, and competitors to create relevant and impactful content.
- Translate narratives into compelling commercial copy that drives awareness, interest, and event attendance.
- Tailor messaging for both local and international markets, ensuring relevance across different cultural and business contexts.
- Write SEO-friendly content to enhance website traffic and search engine visibility.
- Adapt messaging based on platform-specific needs—crafting distinct approaches for digital banners, social media, print materials, and long-form content.
- Work closely with content, design, marketing, and sales teams to develop campaigns that meet business objectives.
- Ensure all copy is polished, grammatically correct, and aligns with brand guidelines.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of written content, refining strategies based on performance insights.
- Communicate with clients to understand their goals and deliver copy that aligns with their objectives.
- Diploma/Degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications or similar
- 2 – 3 years’ demonstrable experience as a copywriter, preferably B2B
- Experience using HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, Adobe Suite and Google Analytics
- Experience working in an agency environment (advantageous)
