Job description
Perform analysis of retail and foodservice data, utilizing data mining techniques and visualizations to uncover insights that drive business growth. Develop reports and dynamic dashboards that highlight performance and provide recommendations to business partners. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance, and contribute to identifying potential opportunities for operational improvements and business strategies.
- Evaluate performance of promotions, changes in assortment and space, competitive position, experiments, and limited time offers. Offer detailed and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Create self-service dashboards for business partners by utilizing statistical scripting languages and AI tools.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and perform beginner-level research to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop strategies based on analyses and insights. Run scenarios to model financial impact.
- Actively participate in team discussions and problem-solving.
- Ensure all analyses, reports, and dashboards adhere to company policies, maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and security while complying with all relevant regulations.
- Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field preferred, such as business analytics, mathematics, finance, or economics.
- 1+ years’ experience in data or business analytics preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
