Electrical Engineer

Job description
- Design and develop building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, telecommunications, and fire alarm systems, from conceptual design through construction administration
- Perform technical calculations, electrical analysis, and system modeling to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards
- Conduct site visits to collect data, evaluate existing electrical systems, and assess equipment and materials for project needs
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
- Coordinate with project teams as the electrical engineering point of contact, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders
- Assist in proposal preparation and contribute to discipline plans that meet project scope and schedule requirements
- Attend client meetings and presentations to discuss project progress, technical solutions, and design decisions
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 1 year of professional experience in electrical engineering, building systems design, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including the National Electric Code (NEC) and applicable energy codes
- Proficiency with CAD software and Revit for electrical design and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to perform electrical calculations, load analysis, and system design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary team environments
- Willing to work on a 2 years contract with full employment benefits
