This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in large-scale environments, enjoys solving complex security problems through analytics, and can effectively translate technical findings into business risk and remediation priorities.

  • Analyze enterprise-scale security telemetry across cloud, SaaS, endpoint, DLP, DSPM, and SIEM environments to identify data security risks, trends, and operational gaps.
  • Contribute to executive-level reporting that communicates risk posture, remediation progress, and governance effectiveness.
  • Partner closely with security engineers, architects, and operational teams to improve visibility, telemetry quality, and remediation outcomes.
  • Support data governance initiatives, risk exception analysis, and the development of meaningful security metrics and risk indicators.
  • Develop automation and modernization efforts, including workflow orchestration and AI-assisted security operations, to enhance operational efficiency and address emerging risks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security analytics, cloud security, or related technical risk disciplines.
  • Proven experience working within large-scale, enterprise, or highly distributed environments.
  • Hands-on experience analyzing security telemetry using SQL and working with SIEM platforms or security data lakes.
  • Proficiency in building dashboards and operational/executive-level reporting using tools like Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical data and findings into actionable business risk insights for stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certifications such as Security+ or related cloud security credentials.
  • Hands-on experience with DLP telemetry, DSPM/security posture management, and endpoint telemetry analysis.
  • Proficiency in workflow orchestration, API integrations, and scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation and analytics.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, or graph database concepts.
  • Experience with AI governance, AI risk metrics, LLM/data exposure concepts, or supporting insider risk analysis and security operations workflows.
