Network Firewall Engineer

Role Description and Requirements

Functions of Network Security Firewall Engineer includes but not limited to overall management of global infrastructure from commissioning of new firewalls, management, standards and compliance, implementations, replacements (RMAs), code upgrades, firewall related incident management, and decommissioning of EOL and defective firewalls.

•

Responsible for configuration, deployment, and day to day management of customer next generation firewall solution (Palo alto and Juniper) in a 24x7 x365 environment.

•

Assist monitoring, configuration changes, Firewall rule updates, accounts, and software updates.

Job Requirements

•

Must have active CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certification. Any active CCNP level certification can be considered, but routing and switching are required.

•

Has 4 to 5 years' experience in a network engineering role. 4 years of solid work experience supporting WAN (Wide Area Network) and LAN (Local Area Network) environments is required.

•

Solid background/experience with network operating systems (Cisco IOS/IOS-XR/IOS-XE/NX-OS, JUNOS) is required.

•

Strong knowledge and experience with network device platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, ISR, ASR, Nexus, Wireless, and Aruba Wireless is also required.

•

The candidate must have good communication skills.

•

Must be amenable to work on graveyard and hybrid set-up in Mall of Asia Business Complex, Pasay.
