Job description
The Actuarial Analyst provides support to the Reserving and Pricing Actuarial teams. The candidate will process, validate and interpret data to statistically model and determine results for the business. The candidate will be required to develop, maintain and update reports and communicate results into the senior members of the Actuarial team.
- Assist with updating the quarterly Reserving process.
- Assist with Pricing models and ad hoc Pricing modelling of insurance accounts.
- Complete project work including Binder Management modelling.
- Update key management information reports.
- Assist with the Reporting of Arch Insurance International’s results to Senior Management and External parties.

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.) ad databases (SQL, Snowflake, etc.)
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
- Knowledge of using programing languages (VBA, Python, R)
- Desire to learn Actuarial skills including Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) membership
