Job description
The Supply Specialist is responsible to maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and materials required for production.
Responsibilities:
- Pull or replenish inventory and production supplies for various departments to meet production requirements.
- Perform manual and clerical duties related to the receipt of materials and supplies via freight or third-party LTL carrier.
- Investigate and correct inventory discrepancies. Work with production staff to perform periodic review of inventory stock, recording quantity, type, and value of materials on hand.
- Maintain necessary files and documentation.
- May ensure shipment and delivery time schedules are maintained.
- Assist with maintaining chemical inventory and storage.
- May complete and maintain all required documents required for handling & shipping Hazardous and Non-hazardous waste.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 3 years or more relevant experience required
- Requires knowledge of general administrative and manufacturing operations procedures and knowledge of job specific processes key to successfully execute and complete the duties of the job.
- Basic verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic organizational skills sufficient to accomplish work by established deadlines.
- Ability to safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles, preferred
- Basic knowledge of required information systems, including materials tracking systems, storage and retrieval systems, inventory control systems and applicable reporting systems which may include spreadsheets, databases and other materials receipt and usage systems.

The salary range for this role at the noted RRD location is $17.80 - $25.50 / hour. Starting pay decisions are determined based on multiple factors including but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, skills, experience, certifications, proficiency, performance, shift, location, and other business needs. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
