Job description
• Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large scale projects
• Makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s)
• Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments
• Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information
• May review contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget
- A minimum of 4–5 years of relevant experience in the Finance function, with exposure to Revenue Recognition, Cost Control, and/or FP&A is required
- Experience of project accounting desirable, preferably in a multinational
- Demonstrable experience operating in a complex, fast paced, international business environment
- Fluent in English + another language
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential
- Ability to manage details but also understand the “big picture”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Identifies and executes initiatives and continuous improvements
- Extensive operations interface and collaboration
