About the Company:
• Established manufacturing company in Bedford, OH is seeking a driven and analytical Chemical Engineer to join our team.
• This is a direct hire opportunity working closely with ownership to improve production efficiency, increase output, and optimize equipment performance within our manufacturing operations.
Position Summary:
• The Chemical Engineer will play a key role in evaluating current production processes and implementing improvements to increase volume, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness.
• This position will work directly with the ownership team to assess manufacturing workflows, recommend process enhancements, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and improve chemical manufacturing processes related to beauty products
• Evaluate current equipment and production methods to increase efficiency and output
• Collaborate with ownership to determine process implementation strategies
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs
• Support scaling initiatives and volume growth planning
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
• Strong understanding of process improvement and manufacturing principles
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work closely with leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
