Job Summary of Senior Cashier Associate:

The main responsibility of this position is to create outstanding customer experiences at the cash register by ensuring smooth transactions, delivering excellent service, and supporting coworkers. It involves leading the way in customer engagement, loyalty program promotion, and sales efforts, while also assisting in maintaining high store operation standards. The role helps in achieving performance benchmarks, fostering a positive team environment, and supporting operational excellence by adhering to company policies and engaging in training activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Senior Cashier Associate:
• Deliver tailored service by warmly welcoming and interacting with customers, promoting items, and aiding with services and presentations.
• Maintain a standard of swift and respectful transaction processing, covering sales, returns, and exchanges.
• Promote loyalty initiatives by facilitating customer enrollment in credit programs and mobile apps, supporting the attainment of store sales objectives and shrinkage reduction targets.
• Aid in the training of new cashiers and in the cross-training of other employees to ensure proficient operation of registers.
• Adhere to the guidelines for commencing and concluding the registration process, conducting departing inspections, and supervising cashier check-ins and check-outs.
• Keep the cashwrap and the space around it orderly, free of clutter, and ready for merchandise display.
• Follow all procedures related to operations and risk prevention to safeguard individuals and maintain control over inventory.
• Keep up with ongoing learning initiatives to stay informed about industry developments and product knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience of Senior Cashier Associate:
• Having completed high school is preferable.
• The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experienced in handling retail transactions, assisting shoppers, and facilitating training sessions.
• - Adept at utilizing basic technology, such as mobile devices and POS systems.
• Demonstrating strong communication capabilities, adept at multitasking, and excelling in customer service interactions.
• Exhibiting proficiency in steering and impacting peers towards supporting team goals.
• In order to take part, individuals need to be 18 years of age or above.
