Solution Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Raritan, NJ. You will design end‑to‑end solutions that align business processes with modern technology roadmaps.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Solution Architect Job Responsibilities Include
• Develop reusable architecture patterns and translate business requirements into scalable solutions across On‑Prem and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments.
• Define infrastructure, compute, storage, network, and cloud service designs while guiding the transition from current‑state to future‑state architecture.
• Independently analyze complex technology challenges, evaluate potential impacts, and recommend effective, reliable solutions.
• Conduct comprehensive architecture reviews to identify performance bottlenecks and propose enhancements to improve system resilience and efficiency.
• Serve as a key technical expert on large, cross‑functional projects, collaborating with global teams to drive architecture alignment.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and IT governance standards while balancing business needs and strategic technology roadmaps.

Required Qualifications
• Tertiary degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• Minimum 5+ years in IT with strong technology focus (10+ years preferred).
• Broad and current knowledge across IT infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), core services, virtualization, networking, security, HA/DR, and data center environments.
• Proven expertise as an Enterprise/Domain/Solution Architect with experience aligning teams, driving architecture strategies, and working in regulated environments (FDA, HIPAA, etc.).

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
