Full-Time
Rivertown Solar is a growing electrical and solar contractor serving Westchester County and the Hudson Valley. In addition to our solar work, we perform a wide range of residential and commercial electrical projects, including service upgrades, panel replacements, EV chargers, and general electrical contracting.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Project Administrator to support project management, customer intake, scheduling, and job costing across our electrical division. This role is ideal for someone with construction or electrical experience who wants to grow into a full project management position.
Ideal candidates come from electrical contractors or construction firms and are comfortable working in both office and field environments.
Responsibilities
• Manage customer intake, including initial calls, project qualification, and job setup
• Coordinate scheduling of electricians, crews, and service calls
• Support project execution from kickoff through completion
• Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables
• Assist with job costing, budgeting, and tracking labor and materials
• Order and track materials and equipment
• Maintain accurate project records in CRM and project management systems
• Communicate with customers regarding scheduling, updates, and project status
• Coordinate permits, inspections, and utility requirements as needed
• Assist with contracts, change orders, and project documentation
• Support preparation and organization of AIA documentation and project records where applicable
• Help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Assist in resolving field issues by coordinating with crews and project managers
Qualifications
• Experience in electrical, construction, or project coordination roles
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Strong communication skills (customer-facing and internal)
• Familiarity with electrical systems and construction workflows
• Experience with job costing, budgeting, or project tracking
• Experience with construction estimating or takeoff software, such as: Bluebeam, McCormick, ConEst, or similar platforms
• Familiarity with AIA documentation and construction processes
• Experience with contracts, change orders, and project documentation
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll processes is a plus
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, CRM systems, and project management tools
• Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
• Electrical contracting experience
• Experience working with service calls and small-to-mid size projects
• OSHA 10 certification
• Experience with municipal or prevailing wage projects
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have:
• 2–5 years experience in electrical, construction, or project coordination roles
• Experience supporting or managing multiple concurrent projects
• Strong attention to detail in job costing, scheduling, and documentation
• Ability to stay organized and keep projects moving forward without constant oversight
This role is best suited for candidates looking to grow into a full project management role, not purely administrative positions.
Compensation
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 depending on experience
