Process Analyst Appian Projects

Atlas Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated Appian Process Analyst to join our dynamic IT team and contribute to design and implementation of complex process automation solutions that bridge the gap between our Appian low-code platform and PeopleSoft ERP. You will be responsible for analyzing business needs, mapping business processes, and translating requirements into functional specifications that guide the development team that allows users to interact with PeopleSoft data and workflows directly within Appian interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Analyze and document business processes using BPMN standards.
• Identify process inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for automation using Appians capabilities.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Appian Architects and Developers to design workflows, data models, and user interfaces.
• Support Agile delivery through backlog refinement, sprint planning, and clarification of requirements.
• Assist in creating test cases and scenarios; support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and comply with organizational standards.
• Analyze and ensure business processes and integration points align with PeopleSoft Modules and Appian workflow.
• Run workshops and working sessions to drive clarity and consensus for functional and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Produce Process maps, user stories, functional specifications and technical guides in document repositories with acceptable governance.

You have
• Appian Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Appian versions 24.x or higher.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling (BPMN) and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience working on Appian or other BPM/low-code platform projects.
• Ability to create clear and detailed requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Certifications: Appian Certified Analyst is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Appian features (process models, interfaces, records, data types, etc.).
• Experience with data modeling and workflow design.
• Appian Analyst, Designer, or Practitioner certification (nice to have).
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for backlog management.
• Attention to detail with a focus on delivering secure, high-quality solutions
