Managing Director
Job description
The Managing Director of Fiber Locator will be responsible for leading, growing, and evolving the Fiber Locator business. This role will oversee strategy, operations, and customer success while ensuring alignment with the broader organization’s goals. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership experience in telecom, fiber infrastructure, or data centers, with strong commercial acumen and a track record of scaling subscription businesses.
Job Summary:
The Managing Director is responsible for driving strategic growth, operations excellence, and customer success while aligning all efforts with company goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Set and execute the strategic vision for Fiber Locator, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
• Drive sales and marketing alignment to accelerate new business growth and improve go-to-market strategies.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring business efficiency, customer satisfaction, and data accuracy.
• Lead and mentor the Fiber Locator team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
• Develop and refine the product roadmap in coordination with technology and data teams.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure high retention and satisfaction rates.
• Establish operational and financial KPIs; track and report performance to executive leadership.
• Identify opportunities for product innovation, partnerships, and acquisitions to strengthen market position.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and data-handling standards.

The Individual:
• Proven success in managing P&L and scaling a subscription-based or information services business.
• Strong understanding of telecom networks, fiber mapping, or related infrastructure data products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, operations).
• Track record of driving growth, improving customer retention, and expanding into new markets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 5-10+ years of leadership experience in telecom, fiber infrastructure, or related industries.
