NOW HIRING: Fabrication/Welding Technician (Entry-Level Friendly – MIG Welding Required)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)

About the Position

We are seeking a dependable Fabrication/Welding Technician to join a local manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role focused on welding and basic fabrication work. Candidates should have some MIG welding experience—whether from previous jobs, trade school, or hands-on training. This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow their welding skills in a supportive shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform MIG welding on steel components and assemblies
• Assist with basic fabrication tasks such as measuring, cutting, fitting, and prepping materials
• Read and interpret simple blueprints and shop drawings
• Use grinders, sanders, and hand tools to prep and finish parts
• Move and stage materials and completed products safely
• Maintain an organized and safe work area
• Follow all shop safety procedures and wear required PPE
Working Conditions
• Non-climate-controlled fabrication shop
• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Occasional overtime based on production needs
Requirements (Must Have)
• Some MIG welding experience (production, repair, school, or hobby-based)
• Ability to read basic blueprints or measurements
• Reliable math and ruler/measurement skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to wear required PPE (welding helmet, gloves, leathers, steel-toe boots)
