What you will do

•Develop qualification plans for supplier transfer & refurbishment projects and complete associated verification testing.

•Manage and execute Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).

•Collaborate effectively within engineering and cross-functional teams.

•Pull together design packages including drawings, specifications, and Bill of Material (BOM)

•Work with suppliers to understand requirements and answer technical questions

•Drive design changes (ECOs) to add alternate supplier or change the approved supplier

•Drive verification due to transfers or supplier changes and First Article Inspections (FAIRs)

•Partner with other engineers to understand scope and impact of the transfer

What you will bring

•Background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (mix of Mechanical& Electrical Engineers ideal).

•Solid understanding of Medical Device Quality Management System (QMS) processes, with hands-on experience.

•Proven experience managing end-to-end design change projects.

•Electrical Engineering background, preferably with medical device knowledge

•Design Change experience (Inputs, Requirements, Verification, Transfer)

•Ability to read and interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and BOMs

Pay Range: $40 to $55/hour

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements

This role is considered an on-site position located in State College, PA 16803

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
