Full Stack Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting healthcare and workplace investing platforms. This role focuses on building scalable data infrastructure, modernizing legacy systems, and driving cloud-based data solutions.

You will work in an Agile environment collaborating with Product Owners, Data Analysts, and Data Modelers to deliver robust, high-performing data solutions.

Must Have Skills

• 9+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
• Strong expertise in:
• SQL
• Python
• Apache Airflow

Hands-on experience with

• Data Lakes & Data Warehouses
• Snowflake (preferred)
• AWS Cloud

Experience with reporting tools

• OBIEE / OAS

Strong understanding of

• Data modeling concepts
• Large-scale data processing & unstructured data
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub)
• Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)
• Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with Power BI (migration projects preferred)
• Knowledge of:
• Oracle, Databricks, SQL Server
• Exposure to Healthcare or Financial domain data
• Experience delivering Data as a Service (DaaS)
• Strong leadership/mentoring experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data pipelines and platforms
• Lead development of data warehouse and reporting solutions
• Support migration to AWS & Snowflake ecosystems
• Ensure high-quality, testable, and production-ready code
• Collaborate across teams to define and implement data strategy
• Drive best practices in data engineering and architecture
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards
