Job description

The Junior ERP Systems Developer supports the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and day-to-day support of the company’s internal systems and applications. This role focuses on troubleshooting issues, supporting end users, and implementing incremental system improvements to ensure reliable and efficient operations. Working closely with the OpX team, this position will contribute to system enhancements, assist with development efforts, and help support future platform initiatives. This position is based in-office and requires regular on-site presence to support team collaboration and system operations.

· Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining applications using Python, JavaScript, and SQL (PostgreSQL)

· Support configuration and customization of workflows, forms, and system features based on business needs

· Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolution or escalation as needed

· Provide help desk support to internal users, including managing tickets, answering system-related questions, and guiding users through solutions

· Perform ongoing system maintenance, including enhancing existing functionality and resolving system issues to improve performance and usability

· Assist in testing system changes and validating enhancements prior to deployment

· Support integrations (APIs, EDI, and other interfaces) through monitoring and basic updates

· Document system configurations, processes, and updates following internal standards

· Collaborate with internal teams to gather feedback and identify opportunities for system improvements

· Participate in system upgrades, deployments, and continuous improvement efforts

Maintain version control and follow established development and documentation practices

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)

· 1–2 years of experience in software development, IT support, or a related technical role (internships acceptable)

· Foundational knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and SQL

· Familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar)

· Interest in business systems, applications, and process improvement

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
