Our methodology
How we research the resume and career guidance on Mokaru.
Where the data comes from
Every resume example and career guide on Mokaru is grounded in authoritative occupation data. Skills, daily tasks, required knowledge areas, and education levels come from the U.S. Department of Labor's O*NET database, the federal source used by job sites, schools, and workforce agencies. Wage ranges, employment levels, and growth projections come from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.
How the guides are written
For every occupation we cover, we compile the official data above into a single page: what the role does, the skills employers ask for, salary expectations, related careers, and practical resume advice. We use automated tooling to keep this research consistent across roles, and we review the output for accuracy, clarity, and tone. We do not invent statistics, employers, or trends. If a number is on the page, it traces back to O*NET or the BLS.
Resume tips and best practices
The do's, don'ts, FAQ, and example bullet points reflect what recruiters and ATS systems actually look for: relevant keywords, quantified outcomes, the right format for the role, and a length that matches the candidate's experience. We update guidance as hiring practices and ATS behavior evolve.
Updates and corrections
Occupation and wage data are refreshed when the federal sources publish new releases. If you spot an inaccuracy on any page, email hello@mokaru.ai and we will look into it.
