Overview

This project team will support key initiatives to build processes and implement a technical solution to improve and sustain client security controls for the CMMC External Boundary.

Role Responsibilities

Functional Business Analyst will be responsible for collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements, ensuring that all needs are accurately captured and understood. You will manage stakeholder communications, facilitating clear and consistent updates throughout the project lifecycle. Your role will involve creating comprehensive documentation, including detailed business requirements, process flows, and solution designs, which will serve as the foundation for development and implementation. Additionally, you will conduct thorough testing to verify that the delivered solutions align with the established requirements and address any identified gaps.

You will act as a critical liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, documenting defects and coordinating testing efforts to resolve issues efficiently. Your responsibilities will extend to providing post-implementation support, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any challenges that arise after deployment. Familiarity with Agile methodologies will be essential, as you will participate in iterative development cycles and contribute to risk management activities to proactively identify and mitigate potential project obstacles. Exposure to tools such as process mapping software, requirements management platforms, and testing frameworks will be advantageous in this role, as will experience in stakeholder engagement, solution validation, and post-launch support.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements by working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives
  • Manage and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Create detailed documentation of business requirements, process flows, and solution designs
  • Conduct testing to ensure the delivered solution meets business requirements and quality standards
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams to document defects and facilitate resolution
  • Support and participate in Agile ceremonies and methodologies
  • Identify and manage risks associated with business processes and solution implementation
  • Provide post-implementation support and facilitate a smooth transition to business teams
