Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst / Tester to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions while ensuring high-quality software delivery through rigorous testing. The ideal candidate will gather and document business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and perform functional and system testing to validate application performance and usability. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and quality assurance skills.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Specifications (FRD).
- Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirement review sessions.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, workflows, and process diagrams.
- Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with business users.
- Maintain requirement traceability matrices (RTM).
Testing Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.
- Execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using defect management tools.
- Validate system enhancements and bug fixes.
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and data validation testing.
- Ensure test coverage meets business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Prepare and present test summary reports.
Required Qualifications
- Should have been part of at least two full life cycle data migration projects associated with Azure
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, QA Tester, or combined BA/QA role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong experience in functional testing and test case development.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

- Certification such as CBAP, CCBA, or ISTQB is a plus.
