Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst delivers data-driven insights to support procurement, inventory, and overall supply chain decision-making. This role combines strong analytical expertise with ERP system proficiency and technical capabilities to drive process automation and continuous improvement.
The Analyst partners cross-functionally with Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, Finance, IT and Suppliers to ensure high service levels, data integrity, and effective system utilization. This position plays a critical role in enhancing reporting capabilities, optimizing inventory performance and forecasting accuracy, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities
· Supply Chain Analytics & Inventory Management
o Analyze monthly sales, inventory, and in-stock performance to support strategic decision-making.
o Develop demand forecasts using historical trends and business inputs.
o Review and optimize stocking strategies to maintain targeted SKU coverage.
o Manage inbound container and domestic shipment reporting in collaboration with Operations to support resource planning.
o Support new business rollouts by determining on-hand inventory, replenishment needs, and inbound supply timing.
o Identify and mitigate slow-moving or inactive inventory through analytical reporting.
o Drive process improvements by streamlining workflows and reducing manual data entry through value stream mapping, automation, and technologies such as OCR.
· Supplier Performance & KPI Management
o Develop, maintain, and enhance supplier KPI dashboards (Power BI).
o Establish and refine departmental KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
o Support sourcing and supply base management through large-scale data analysis.
· ERP Systems & Process Optimization
o Support and optimize ERP system functionality, focusing on supply chain modules (e.g., Quotation, PO, Inventory, Distribution, etc.).
o Translate supply chain requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with IT on system enhancements and implementations.
o Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, SQL, and other tools.
o Document supply chain processes and system requirements.
o Participate in IT initiatives and special projects as assigned.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, IT, and Suppliers to coordinate supply chain activities and improve performance outcomes.
Required Skills/Abilities
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, advanced formulas, Power Query).
- Proficiency in Power BI and data visualization tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL and reporting systems.
- Experience with ERP systems, including MRP, Inventory, and Distribution modules.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, inventory planning, demand planning, or data analytics (distribution environment preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of ERP experience supporting MRP, Inventory, or Distribution modules.
- Experience documenting business requirements and supporting system implementations.
- Solid understanding of inventory management principles and forecasting methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
· Advanced Excel expertise (5+ years strongly preferred).
· Experience with Power BI, Microsoft ecosystem tools, and SQL.
· Background in distribution or complex supply chain environments.
