Job description
The Position
We are developing a novel diagnostic assay and smart point-of-care device for the rapid detection of sepsis onset and progression. As such, we have an exciting opportunity for highly motivated research interns to work on the electrical and computerized aspects of a portable microdevice for the deployment of a novel diagnostic biochemical assay for sepsis. This is a research volunteer beginning in March and continuing through the upcoming quarters. The position is open to UW undergraduate students.
Suitable candidates will typically have extensive demonstrable skills and experience in:
- Electrical circuitry including Relays, Microcontrollers, PCB, etc
- Hardware-software integration
- Time management and personal leadership
- Teamwork
