Job description

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive curricula tailored to early childhood development standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
  • Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate Montessori principles, standardized testing preparation, and age-appropriate activities for preschool and toddler-aged children.
  • Manage daily classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and child welfare.
  • Utilize effective behavior management strategies to support positive behavior and address challenges with patience and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists in special education or early intervention programs to support individual student needs.
  • Conduct assessments of student progress through observations, documentation, and standardized testing to inform instructional strategies.
  • Foster strong communication skills with children and their families to promote ongoing engagement and support for each child's development journey.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; prior classroom experience is highly valued.
  • Knowledge of childhood development theories, early intervention techniques, and special education practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with Montessori methods, literacy education, math instruction, physical education, and child welfare standards.
  • Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds including toddlers and preschoolers; experience with private schools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and school administrators effectively.
  • Certification or qualification in early childhood education or related fields preferred; relevant certifications in childcare or daycare are advantageous.
