Role and Responsibilities
As a Early Learning Educator at KinderCare, you will play a key role in each child’s educational progress, guiding them through developmental milestones in a safe, welcoming, and encouraging learning space. You will also work closely with families and fellow educators to ensure a meaningful and high-quality early learning experience.
- Use KinderCare’s curriculum and adapt lessons to support each child’s developmental needs.
- Maintain a classroom atmosphere that is secure, engaging, inclusive, and supportive.
- Build respectful and professional relationships with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Collaborate with parents to reinforce learning and growth beyond the classroom.
- Assist with center goals related to accreditation, enrollment, and community involvement.
- Adhere to KinderCare policies as well as state licensing regulations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong customer service abilities, solid organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask.
- Must meet state qualification requirements or be willing to pursue any required training or certification.
- CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to complete certification.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and actively participate in both indoor and outdoor activities with children.
- Clear and effective communication in English with families, children, and staff members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or NAEYC eligibility.
- Two to three years of hands-on experience in early childhood education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
- Recognition as an approved state trainer (preferred).
