Our client is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented E-commerce Social Media Marketing Manager to join their growing team in Durham, North Carolina, US . This is an exciting opportunity to shape our brand's online presence, drive customer engagement, and boost sales through innovative social media strategies. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media campaigns across various platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and Twitter, with a strong focus on e-commerce integration and conversion optimization. Your role will involve content creation, community management, influencer collaborations, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a strategic social media plan that aligns with e-commerce goals and brand objectives. Create, curate, and manage engaging and high-quality content (images, videos, copy) for all social media channels. Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and apply that knowledge to increase the effectiveness of social media campaigns. Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, targeting, A/B testing, and performance tracking. Engage with our online community, respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner, and foster positive relationships with customers. Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers and brand advocates to expand reach and credibility. Analyze social media data and metrics to provide regular reports on campaign performance, engagement rates, ROI, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution. Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, technologies, and emerging platforms. Manage social media tools for scheduling, monitoring, and analytics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful e-commerce social media campaigns. In-depth knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices, particularly for e-commerce. Experience with social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creative flair. Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in graphic design and video editing tools is a plus. Experience with influencer marketing campaigns is highly desirable. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of consumer behavior in the digital space and a passion for driving online sales through engaging social media content. The ideal candidate will be proactive, data-driven, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
