Mid-Level MEP Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mid-Level MEP Design Engineer to join our office in Sunrise, Florida.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The ideal candidate is smart, ambitious, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to help move projects forward with a strong sense of ownership. This is not a role for someone looking to do the minimum. We are looking for someone who wants to grow, take initiative, and contribute at a high level. Responsibilities include:

• Prepare engineering drawings and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Participate in the design and layout of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including plans, details, risers, schedules, and schematics.
• Support engineering calculations, equipment selections, and code-related design tasks.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, civil, and other disciplines to reduce conflicts and improve document quality.
• Help develop complete permit and construction document packages.
• Identify missing information, design conflicts, and coordination issues before internal review and submission.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and field reports as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-8 years of relevant experience in MEP building systems.
• Experience with permit and construction document packages.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work with urgency, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.
• Engineering degree, EIT track, or related experience is a plus.
