The Opportunity
Join our Business Tax Advisory practice and focus on US Tax - Information Reporting & Withholding. Collaborate in a team setting on engaging projects across financial services, while assisting clients with critical operational tax and reporting issues. As part of our expert team, you’ll contribute to understanding tax regulations and implementing necessary operational changes, gaining invaluable experience across multiple financial sectors.
Your work will involve significant tax compliance matters such as non-resident alien (NRA) withholding, Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), and common reporting initiatives. Your Key Responsibilities
- Engage daily with team members and clients on various IRW projects, translating IRS Code and regulations into practical guidance.
- Conduct gap analyses of client policies and procedures, compiling business requirements and documentation, including presentations.
- Involve in technical analysis and process improvement initiatives while responding to client proposals.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, with a J.D., LL.M. in Taxation, or Master's in Taxation (MST) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant tax consulting or operational experience.
- Licensed as an attorney or CPA, or the ability to obtain one of these designations.
Ideally, You'll Also Have
- Active participation in industry groups such as SIFMA or ABA.
- Proven ability to implement tax regulations effectively.
- Experience in tax information reporting and withholding, particularly regarding Chapters 3, 4, and 61.

- The base salary range for this role across the US is $97,300 to $178,300; for specific regions such as New York City, Washington State, and California, it's $116,700 to $202,600.
