The GEICO Digital Strategy unit is seeking a highly motivated individual to independently and collaboratively mine data, build data models and reports, and analyze the results of customer-facing applications with the intent of maximizing sales funnel performance.
Position Description
Digital Strategy Analysts are responsible for providing intelligence on specific customer-facing products, applications, and projects while analyzing this intelligence to make recommendations which help the product or project achieve success. As a part of the Digital Strategy department, you will experience a collaborative approach to analyzing data but will also be required to independently manage your assigned products and projects.
Our team is expected to produce a high volume of high-quality intelligence and be able to communicate this intelligence to senior management stakeholders. The ideal candidate will utilize an existing detail-oriented full stack skillset to build front-end user interfaces, back-end data models and ad-hoc requests with the intent of providing recommendations.
Position Responsibilities
- Utilizes expertise in Sales Funnel data sources to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and outline product and project performance.
- Mines data and builds analytics tools for Senior Management, independently or with minimal assistance.
- Utilizes ADO to track work output as it pertains to product and project features.
- Independently manage a Feature and User Story backlog and provide internal updates without need for preparation or assistance.
- Demonstrates excellent business understanding and depth of application knowledge to support the analysis, conclusions, and recommendations provided to senior management.
- Queries and aggregates data needed to drive insights using various query tools such as SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Triages data concerns and provides insights for resolution when applicable.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in SQL, Excel and PowerQuery building complex queries and data models is required.
- Professional experience in Power BI building intuitive front end user interfaces is required.
- Preferred strong understanding and experience DAX, M, Python, and R.
- Preferred understanding of machine learning solutions.
- Preferred background in Azure DevOps or similar project management or software development platform.
- Ability to prioritize work items to effectively and efficiently complete work.
- Personal Lines Insurance experience preferred.
Compensation Will Vary Depending On Experience Level.
Annual Salary
$64,575.00 - $141,450.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
