Job Description: This position allows the college to use three distinct venues and technical facilities in an effective and safe manner. This allows the College of Arts and Letters to accomplish some of its key missions: Providing core knowledge in the arts, humanities and social sciences, and by supporting a broad array of cultural experiences that enrich the lives of students, the University and the community. This position also ensures the safe and effective use of University Theatre, the Goode Theatre and Brock Commons and technical facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

Considerable knowledge of the performing arts or theatre operations to include safety protocols and scheduling. Knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques. Working skill in the rigging of lighting and sound equipment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to supervise or oversee activities related to the operation of a performance venue. Demonstrated ability to arrange set pieces and other equipment into an effective theatrical stage composition. Additional Considerations:
