Schedule and Work Details

Location: NBP 410 Schedule: Standard on-site schedule in a secure environment Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). In-scope poly within 7 years required Telework: Not specified Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Might Include

  • Designing and developing cloud-based software solutions using modern programming languages
  • Building automation and infrastructure components using Terraform and AWS tooling
  • Developing high-quality services and utilities in Go and Python
  • Supporting deployment, integration, and performance optimization across environments
  • Collaborating with DevOps, data, and mission teams to ensure reliability and scalability
  • Troubleshooting issues across distributed systems and cloud infrastructure
  • Contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts

Minimum Qualifications

Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required). In-scope poly within 7 years required Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen

Education and Experience

  • Experience aligned with Software Engineer Skill Level 2 requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience
  • Additional relevant experience may substitute for a degree

Required Skills

  • Experience developing software using Go and/or Python
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles
  • Experience working with AWS services and cloud-native architectures
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts
  • Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across environments

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting mission systems in secure environments
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Experience optimizing performance of cloud workloads
  • Familiarity with containerization or orchestration technologies
  • Experience working with large-scale data processing systems

Technology Stack

Go, Python, Terraform, AWS (EC2, S3, IAM, and related services), cloud-native tooling, distributed systems technologies, version control systems, and modern DevOps practices. Compensation Range: $176,000.00 - $226,000.00

  • The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role.
