Role Overview

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented interns from Data Analytics and Engineering-related disciplines to join our technical teams. This internship provides hands-on exposure to real-world engineering, manufacturing, and data analytics projects. Interns will support process improvement, data analysis, and technical investigations while working closely with engineers and cross-functional partners.

This role is ideal for students who want practical experience in advanced manufacturing, process engineering, and data-driven problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing engineering and manufacturing data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
• Support process monitoring, optimization, and documentation activities
• Work with engineers on experiments, tests, and technical evaluations
• Help develop dashboards and reports for operational and process metrics
• Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis activities
• Contribute to design of experiments (DOE) and statistical studies
• Support data cleaning, validation, and ETL-related tasks
• Prepare technical summaries and presentations of findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or has equivalent experience in any of the following majors or related programs:
  • Computer Science
  • Data Science
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Statistics
  • Physics
  • Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics
  • Materials Science
  • Manufacturing Engineering
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with large datasets and technical information
• Detail-oriented with a structured and organized approach to tasks
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Technical Skills (Preferred — not all required)

• Basic knowledge of precision mechanics and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with thin-film processes and contamination control concepts
• Understanding of metrology tools (e.g., AFM, profilometry) is a plus

Exposure to:

• Design of Experiments (DOE)
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Failure analysis methods

Programming / Analytics Tools:

• Python or R
• SQL

Data & Reporting Tools:

• Power BI or Tableau
• Data visualization techniques

Fundamentals of:

• Statistical modeling
• Machine learning basics
• ETL processes
