Float and Finance Analyst
The Float and Finance Analyst specializes in delivering an exceptional customer experience through sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Business Banking customers. This role supports daily branch operations, meets customer service and sales needs, and manages customer appointments to identify needs and refer complex issues to appropriate team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance customer engagement by providing insights into Consumer and Business Banking solutions. Recommend services that cater to specific customer needs and promote the utilization of digital banking features for added convenience.
- The process of appointments and consultations involves overseeing customer meetings, whether they are arranged in advance or occur spontaneously, to identify their financial needs and ensure a smooth transition to the relevant banking professionals for complex matters.
- Reach out to clients in a proactive manner to enhance customer retention and foster the growth of relationships.
- Lobby Oversight: Take part in lobby oversight by greeting customers, addressing inquiries, and assuming responsibility for resolving immediate banking issues.
- Participate in Operational Support by contributing to routine branch operations like handling customer transactions, resolving overdraft disputes, and ensuring compliance with internal frameworks. Carry out operational duties as necessary.
- Maintaining Compliance and Risk Management Standards: Remaining knowledgeable about Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Know Your Customer (KYC) processes. Identifying and escalating potential fraud incidents. Ensuring adherence to operational and regulatory guidelines.
- Customer Resolution: Efficiently manage customer complaints by accurately documenting and following up on them promptly. Ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Sales Referrals revolve around pinpointing sales chances and guiding clients towards the appropriate banking partners for tailored product suggestions.
Scope of Responsibilities
- Give outstanding customer care and efficiently tackle any problems that arise.
- Improve branch sales outcomes and enhance the overall customer journey.
- Engage in a range of activities within the branch, from setting up new accounts and initiating loans to troubleshooting and processing transactions.
- Demonstrate empathy and customer-centric behavior, be adaptable to various needs, and show proficiency in digital fluency during all customer interactions.
Standards related to academic credentials and job history
- Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent, GED.
- Applicants must possess a minimum of one year of involvement in retail sales, call center activities, customer service, or telesales.
- Capable of clear and compelling verbal and interpersonal communication.
- Capability to address challenging customer dialogues and diverse customer demands proficiently.
- Well-organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to function effectively under pressure amid a rapid teamwork environment.
- Competent in utilizing technology at an online level.
Preferred Qualifications
- Adapting bilingual proficiency to cater to branch necessities.
- Established reputation for sales effectiveness or referral generation.
- Physical Requirements:
- Having the stamina to stand uninterrupted for prolonged periods.
- Persistent application of hands and fingers over a prolonged period.
- Proficiency in lifting light to moderately heavy objects (5-30 lbs) as required.
- Capacity to interpret tiny print.
- Capability to communicate effectively with clients in a face-to-face setting.
