Summary of Job Duties:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients with specialized needs, particularly in medical and surgical settings, as part of a collaborative managed care environment.

You will play a key role in improving patient outcomes through individualized nutrition planning, while also serving as an educator for patients, families, healthcare professionals, and students or interns. Working under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Nutrition Services, you will actively contribute to a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere and help foster excellence in patient care.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered nutrition services.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Registered Dietitian 

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and completion of a dietetic internship.

• Registered Dietitian (RD)

• Licensed Dietitian (LD) in the State of Arkansas

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Basic computer skills

• Interviewing candidates with all levels of experience - Nutrition, LD & RD

Preferred Qualifications:

• Clinical experience

• Registered Dietitian and Licensed by the State of Arkansas preferred

Registered Dietitian II

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics

• RD, LD

• 1 year clinical experience in dietetics and nutrition

Registered Dietitian III

• Master’s degree required or Specialty Certification required

• Precepts dietetic interns in the UAMS internship program

• 3 years’ experience in dietetics and nutrition

Registered Dietitian IV

• Master’s required

• 5 years’ experience in dietetics and nutrition

• Specialty Certification required​
