2d Cad- Tekla

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled 2D CAD & Tekla Designer with experience in renewable energy and substation projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for structural and layout components using AutoCAD and Tekla Structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare 2D drawings including layouts, sections, and details for substations/renewable energy projects.
• Develop and modify GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create and manage 3D structural models using Tekla Structures.
• Prepare steel detailing and RCC detailing for substation structures (gantry, equipment foundations, control buildings, etc.).
• Coordinate with electrical, civil, and project teams for design inputs and drawing approvals.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Perform clash checks and drawing revisions as per site and client feedback.
• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting)
• Working knowledge of Tekla Structures (3D modeling & detailing)
• Experience in substation / solar / renewable projects
• Understanding of structural drawings, layouts, and detailing concepts
• Knowledge of IS codes / international standards
• Good coordination and communication skills

Key Deliverables:

• Accurate and timely 2D drawings & 3D models
• Error-free fabrication and construction drawings
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI  / B.Tech in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Experience in EPC / Power / Renewable Energy sector
• Exposure to BIM coordination tools is an added advantage
