Job description
Finance leader responsible for all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, M&A diligence and integration, audit, cash management, and tax compliance for a high growth, acquisitive, PE sponsored healthcare organization. This role is a strategic senior level position that requires extensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, and technology platforms. Highly entrepreneurial “roll up sleeves” approach.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and distribute monthly financial reports in Sage Intacct
- Build and maintain in depth understanding of the business and key drivers.
- Lead and coordinate external audits.
- Maintain strong revenue recognition policies and controls.
- Review and produce month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Compliance with all local tax requirements in 12 states and growing.
- Assure proper internal controls.
- Lead and mentor growing team into high performing unit.
- Seamless integration of acquisitions.
- Support treasury and banking relationship.
- Lead financial due diligence for M&A process.
- Proper recording of acquisition transactions.
- Accounting literature research as needed.
- Constant process improvement for increased efficiency, automation, and controls.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
- 7 or more years of progressively responsible experience in Accounting.
- Strong people manager who develops team members effectively.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents, including technical accounting procedures and government regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare / physician practice rollup experience.
- Worked with private equity sponsor.
- Advanced Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
- CPA License.
- Working knowledge of Sage Intacct.
Salary range:
$165,000-$185,000
