Position Overview

NORTH AMERICA INFLUENCER MANAGER – Influencer Manager, USA (Local Strategy & Creator Partnerships)

Location: Los Angeles or New York preferred (Hybrid)

Department: Brand Marketing / Influencer & Communications

Reports To: Global Senior Marketing Manager

Type: Full-Time

We’re looking for an influencer-obsessed, culturally fluent marketing professional to lead day-to-day execution of our U.S. influencer strategy – with a focus on meaningful relationships, high-touch gifting, and standout creator campaigns that fuel brand buzz and loyalty. You’ll be the connective tissue between social trends, storytelling, and creator collaboration – owning the local influencer scene while keeping us at the forefront of digital culture.

Key Responsibilities

Influencer Gifting & PR Mailers

  • Develop and execute creative seeding programs that generate brand love and UGC.
  • Curate high-impact influencer lists across tiers (nano → celeb), tailored by campaign or moment.
  • Own gifting logistics in partnership with vendors, warehouse teams, and internal ops.
  • Track influencer pickup, earned media value (EMV), and content quality.
  • Report on performance, engagement, and seeding ROI; optimize future drops accordingly.

Always-On Creator Relationship Management

  • Lead day-to-day communication with influencers, agents, and managers.
  • Build long-term relationships with consistent brand advocates.
  • Maintain and grow a robust U.S. creator database aligned to brand values, platform focus (TikTok, Instagram).
  • Identify rising talent, niche creators, and trendsetters ahead of the curve.
  • Surprise & delight creators with personalized touchpoints, product drops, and IRL meetups.

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Partner with internal teams to support paid and organic influencer activations—briefing, tracking, contracting, approvals, and content monitoring.
  • Ensure all creator content ladders up to broader campaign messaging and platform best practices.
  • Maintain organized trackers for outreach, contracts, budgets, and results using tools like CreatorIQ, Traackr, or Tribe Dynamics.
  • Collaborate with brand, social, and content teams to extend creator content across channels.

Trend Spotting & Cultural Listening

  • Keep a pulse on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
  • Flag relevant viral trends, social formats, or creator moments we can tap into.
  • Bring fresh insights from creator culture, beauty communities, and youth subcultures to internal brainstorms.
  • Contribute to themed mailer concepts, campaign hooks, and IRL moments rooted in cultural relevance.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years in influencer marketing or social-first brand marketing; beauty experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of the U.S. creator landscape – especially TikTok and Instagram
  • Experience with gifting campaigns, influencer list-building, and relationship management
  • Skilled in using CreatorIQ, Traackr, or similar platforms for campaign management and reporting
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, trend-led, and creator-first environment
  • Meticulous organizational skills and strong written communication
  • Proactive mindset with creative POV and cultural curiosity
