To meet our challenges we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor -E&I within the Manufacturing team to be based at our Pantnagar unit.

Purpose

The purpose of Maintenance Supervisor -E&I is to ensure desired steam output as per defined standard by ensuring equipments are running smoothly.

Their mission?

The role ensures desired steam production output is achieved as per the plan by following laid down SOP's and safety standards to ensure optimum production is done without any safety incidents and excess use of resources beyond the alloted numbers.

Experienced in managing operations & maintenance of various instruments for reducing downtime and enhancing operational effectiveness of equipment.

• An effective communicator with good analytical, decision-making, problem solving & organizational abilities.
• Leading the team of Instrumentation.
• Excellency in PLC & DCS programming & field instrumentation, preferable in Allen Bradley & Invensys System.
• Maintaining the spare of automation systems.
• Checking of process automation systems on periodic basis.
• In listing the repeated/critical problem of automation systems and fix a brain storming session after discussion with HOD.
• Identifying critical equipment /systems of automation system and prepare complete document necessary for day-to-day operation and ensure the implementation by the team.
• Raise the indents for projects & maintenance spare procurement, Bid Evaluation.
• To ensure the maintenance/ project jobs are safely undertaken in line with work permit system.
• Reporting of job done, status of pending jobs, break down if any.
• Verification of the expenditure bills/ job done.
• Accountable for plant down time and corrective actions.
• Ensure availability of spare parts for plant operations. 
• Accountable for maintaining the Store inventory within the budget.
• Educate team in functional know how & ensure team participation in plant mandatory trainings.

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Instrumentation required.
• 10+ years of experience in Power plant maintenance.
