Role Description

This is an on-site, contract-based Tutor role at our Baltimore, MD location. The Tutor will work directly with students to provide academic support, mentor learners in various subject areas, and implement engaging and interactive educational activities. Responsibilities include creating customized lesson plans, monitoring student progress, offering feedback, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment. The Tutor will engage with learners in one-on-one and group settings and support their academic and personal growth.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in subject-specific content areas relevant to primary, secondary, or post-secondary education
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver personalized lesson plans and educational activities
• Effective communication skills with experience in mentoring and guiding students
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience with interactive and engaging teaching methods
• Degree or current enrollment in education or a relevant field preferred
• A passion for education and empowering learners
• Experience working in youth programs, after-school initiatives, or similar settings is a plus
